Kylie Jenner might just be the queen of cosmetics and she is no stranger to fun collaborations. The makeup mogul and founder of Kylie Cosmetics has creatively collaborated with almost every member of her Kar-Jenner family and now she has added her daughter to that list. Stormi Webster officially entered the beauty game when the Stormi Collection launched February 1st.
Rather than releasing a traditional Valentine’s Day set, Kylie decided to switch it up this year in order to honor her daughter and celebrate a different kind of love. The Stormi Collection by Kylie Cosmetics includes an eyeshadow palette, pressed blush powder, the Lip Kits that rocket-launched her brand to fame, and a six-color mini high gloss collection. Kyle leaked many of the products on Instagram before their official launch; showing fans some of the fun names for the products and swatching them on her arm. The Stormi-inspired Lip Kits are all light and bright with names like “Stormi,” “Head in the Clouds,” and “Give Me Butterflies.” Maybe the cutest name of all is the eyeshadow color called 4:43, the time that Stormi was born! If that doesn’t make your heart melt we don’t know what will…
The Stormi collection comes at a pivotal time for the beauty brand. In November of 2019, Jenner sold more than half of her company to Coty Inc. for $600 million—the 51% stake is now controlled by the makeup brand that owns CoverGirl makeup while the other 49% still belongs to Jenner. The young owner is a savvy businesswoman this collection is less about her and more about her daughter’s second birthday. The light purple packaging, the butterflies, and the fun colors are an ode to the innocence of youth. “How cute is this collection? Everything is mini,” Jenner said during the unveiling.“This has to be the most special collection to date.”
