The Stranger Things Netflix series star Millie Bobby Brown has created a new vegan beauty line called Florence by Mills. Brown has become the youngest celebrity to dive headfirst into the business of beauty. Yes, the starlet has just launched her own line of skincare and cosmetics; she knows what fans want and has already been involved in major projects outside of acting including being a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, endorsing Samsung and UEFA, designing a collection of Converse shoes, and donning the cover of high-end magazines.

The 15-year-old has spent two years working on her brand and named the company after her great-grandmother, Florence, who inspired the teenager for her individuality. Brown sees the brand as, “brand about individuality and bravery and being truthful.” The move is a smart business venture; in a market that is saturated with products for diverse skin tones, aging skin, and millennials there are few products that cater directly to Gen Z’s. In an interview with WWD Millie said, “I wanted to come into the space because there was a gap in the market for young people, I guess I could never find anything that I liked to put on my face and it felt good. I’d take off my make-up and boom, another pimple would appear.”

Don’t let the cute packaging, sparkles and fun aesthetics fool you, Brown comes from a generation that is more connected and more socially conscious than ever before. The beauty line that she has pioneered is socially progressive with each and every detail has been thought through by Brown. Florence by Mills is clean, PETA-certified, cruelty-free and vegan. On top of all of that, proceeds from the sale of her products will go to the Olivia Hope Foundation, a network for cancer patients in honor of her late friend Olivia Hope LoRusso.
