Unless you have been hiding under a rock for the last 16 seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians the names Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, and Kris will all ring a familiar bell. Everyone knows the Kardashian-Jenner family and this isn’t limited to members with “K” names. Over the years, the names of friends, acquaintances, boyfriends, business partners, and enemies have come into the pop culture vernacular. The Kardashian dynasty has connections far and wide, but one name has been a staple on the show since season 1—Kourtney Kardashian’s baby daddy Scott Disick.
For mega-fans Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been the reality show that has birthed spinoffs, merchandise deals, and now billion-dollar beauty product lines. This August, fans will get another Kardashian-fix as Scott Disick takes the lead in his own reality show, Flip it Like Disick on the E! Network. The show will follow Scott while he “flips” the homes of the rich and famous with price tags as high as $16 million! Watching anything happen in a million-dollar mansion is exciting, but having Scott take the wheel with his charisma and humor, fans can expect to be in for not only a home renovation show but a flip-or-flop drama. In a statement made to People magazine, Scott said, “I’m excited to bring fans a new series that shows what I’m really passionate about professionally, which is flipping real estate and doing crazy and impressive renovations on celebrity homes. E! has never had a show like this before. It’s a bit different than viewers are used to seeing, but I think they will be both entertained and inspired by my team.”
What do we know already? We can assume that like other Kardashian-themed spinoffs the new E! Show will have guest appearances from a star-studded cast. Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney & Kim Take Miami both were spinoffs that felt more like Keeping Up seasons due to the routine cameos. From the first clips of Flip it Like Disick it is also easy to see that this will be a very different style of reality show incorporating a docu-series style of filming where each episode combines various projects from year-long house flips to shorter more cosmetic style renovations. Spoilers for the new show have fans excited about what Scott has done with French Montana and Steve Aoki’s homes, as well as whether or not his new girlfriend Sophia Richie, will be along for the ride. Scott and his team take over Los Angeles starting August 4th, 2019.
