If you didn’t already hear the big news, Beyoncé is playing the iconic, stunning voice of Nala in the upcoming photorealistic Lion King movie. As we’ve mentioned before, the anticipation for this movie is on another level since everyone is expecting nothing less than a musical work of art.
Showing up on the red carpet premiere at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre in utmost flair, Beyoncé wore an embellished custom look by the British luxury fashion house currently led by creative director Sarah Burton. The gorgeous star wore a tuxedo dress embellished like a chandelier on the top attached to a shimmery see-through skirt. Combined with matching silver heel sandals and clutch, she stood out effortlessly at the premiere.
What we’ve failed to mention so far is that her seven-year-old daughter, Ivy Blue, joined her on the red carpet with a matching McQueen ensemble. According to Vogue, as they walked hand-in-hand, they coincidentally personified the generational circle of life.
Obviously, Ivy Blue’s look was a little less showy. She wore the same skirt as her mom but the upper part of her outfit comprised of a classic white shirt topped with a black jacket, which was highlighted in a few jewel-like embellishments.
