With Aladdin dominating the box office charts for the past month, Disney has been hogging the cinema spotlights for quite some time now. Apparently, it’s not done with the attention just yet but we can’t pretend to complain about it. Toy Story 4 is finally out and there is more entertainment coming your way so stay tuned. Here are the Disney movies to look forward to.
Lion King
We normally hate remakes but we can’t wait to see this one. The way Aladdin turned out makes us even more hopeful that this classic won’t be butchered. From the director of The Jungle Book, this movie is photorealistic and expected to be a musical work of art.
Pharrell Williams is producing five songs in it and Beyoncé is duetting with Donald Glover on “Can You Feel The Love Tonight?”
Frozen 2
Fingers are crossed that this wouldn’t be a typical first sequel failing to capture the audience the same way the first movie did. A lot is riding on this one because the risk is breaking so many kids’ hearts. We didn’t really get much from the trailer aside from the fact that it definitely seems to have a darker, more intense tone to it. Let’s hope for the best.
Toy Story 4
We couldn’t believe it at first but we checked IMDB and it confirmed that Toy Story 4 actually beat Toy Story 3 in the ratings. We didn’t think it was possible to top the emotional story plotline of the last movie but they’ve gone and done it. What we know from the trailer is that a new toy called Forky joins the gang and they all go on a road trip adventure with their new owner Bonnie. We’re also excited about Bo Peep’s character development. It looks like they finally gave her a more powerful role. No need for real spoilers… The movie just came out and most of us haven’t seen it yet.
