The anticipated Eid Holiday is almost here. With our beloved Ramadan series coming to an end, its time to look forward to the big screen again. Here are the top Arabic movies to be released just in time for Eid this year.
Sab3 El-Bromba
When Ramez Galal takes a break from pranking your favorite superstars, he finally makes an appearance in an actual movie. Directed by Mahmoud Karim, this comedy will also be starring Bayoumi Fouad, Mohamed Tharwat and the gorgeous Jamila Awad, among others. The main character in this film masquerades as a police officer in order to get the girl he loves.
Al Mamar (The Passage)
This historical film is set in the time period starting from the 1967 War to the beginning of the War of Attrition. Directed by Sherif Arafa and starring Ahmad Ezz, Hend Sabri and Ahmed Rizk, the film revolves around the Egyptian special forces during the war and led by a daring leader called Noor.
7amlet Far3oon (Pharaoh’s Campaign)
This suspenseful-action film revolves around a character called Yahya aka Pharaoh, who is the leader of the biggest network of assassins in Egypt and has to leave to Syria in order to rescue the woman he loves. We don’t know about you but we were surprised to see Mike Tyson and Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson aka (The Mountain from Game of Thrones) cast in this movie. Let’s see how it turns out.
Casablanca
This film focuses on a gang of three friends who rob ships together and are assigned a dangerous mission against some Mafia characters. After a large diamond heist, a friend carries out the operation for his personal gain and the battles begin. Harim Al Sultan fans will be rejoiced to see their Turkish star, Halit Ergenç, acting alongside Amir Karara, Ghada Adel and Eyad Nassar.
Mohammed Hussein
Mohamed Saad is finally making his comeback in this action comedy. The film revolves around a driver working at a fancy hotel, who gets involved with the Mafia and is accused of killing a famous painter with several paintings hanging in art exhibitions all over Paris. He then sets out on a search for the real killer.
