Launching the sixth edition of its on-going series of collaborative shoots, FLARE PR just released “The Royal Life of a Modern Marie Antoinette and The Fairytale Cakes” in collaboration with Cake Café. With a knack for fusing the past and present, the theme was an alluring tale inspired by the last Queen of France, Marie Antoinette, a much-talked-about historical figure and an icon of the 1800s known for setting new trends and the lavish lifestyle of the Court of Versailles.
The photoshoot captures modernized royalty enriched with cake designs that incorporate decorative icing, sparkling crystals and romantic floral creations by none other than Kesmat El Mehelmy of the renowned Cake Café.
Reinterpreting Marie’s joyful embrace of vibrant pastels and vintage metallic, FLARE PR chose from the creations of couture designer Malak El Ezzawy, diamond jewelry of Cherif El Sirgany, whimsical headpieces by Halo Heapieces and Suki Designs handbags, all of which were styled together with a modern spin on Baroque and Rococo styles. References to the 18th century fashion also appeared in the form of fitted silhouettes with intricate embroidery and lavish fabrics such as lace, brocade and organza.
