Lou just launched their new collection Glitch, displaying nostalgic designs through a 90’s inspired collection with a hint of modern style. Glitch looks back at the age that gave birth to dial-up Internet and talk boy – a time when sportswear was worn for leisure.

The details on each piece would make you stand out in a heartbeat while offering ease and comfort at the same time. The Dubai-based designer made it his business to send a message through this collection of appreciating natural beauty and being comfortable in your own skin in a world where perfect is the new standard.

With 19 pieces in the collection, including bomber jackets, sweatshirts, pants, skirts, tops and duster coats, Glitch is all about customized prints, novel fabrics, and deconstructed silhouettes, intended to be worn and layered in ways that can both match and clash.

The brand wanted to produce something in touch with the youth culture and contemporary fashion by adopting the season’s hottest trends and using PVC and vinyl, mesh, graphic prints, checks and oversized, deconstructed cuts and details.

The collection is meant to have a modern take on the ‘throwback’ feel. This entailed experiments of pieces with an explosion of colors contrasted with subtle garments. The color scheme include red, blue, yellow, black, metallic and white. You will see pants and jackets in multicolor prints against solids, metallic against mesh and PVC, detached skirts with easy-use fabrics, comfortable yet edgy silhouettes and sporty details.
