As summer fades away day by day, we all go through that semi-grieving process before we can start looking forward to the next season. The fashion world seems to have grieved early, though, or not at all, because we’ve already seen manifold autumn/winter campaigns come out. Here are our top 9 favorite fashion advertising campaigns for the upcoming season.

Calvin Klein

By Willy Vanderperre

Keeping their longstanding Our Family theme going, Calvin Klein took up the Kardashian sisters as their center stage models once again. They modeled a new black and white line of the iconic CK underwear along with killer dark denims that we already added to our wishlist.

Missoni

By Harley Weir

With Gigi Hadid being the face of this campaign, Missoni is officially aiming for the stars. The campaign is not only cheerful and bold, but it embodies an ideal integration of all the endearing fall colors that we love so much.

Christian Dior

By Brigitte Lacombe

Dior expressed its sophisticated vibes by incorporating photography and cinematography props, modeled by none other than academy award winner Jennifer Lawrence. About the direction of the campaign, Lawrence said, “I like Maria Grazia’s use of feminine silhouettes shaped with masculine structures. There’s a great coat in this collection that I think I’m going to wear everyday, even in the summer.”

Prada

By Willy Vanderperre

This season, Prada hit the campaign market with a statement Neon Dream. Set in the Las Vegas strip, model Amanda Murphy brought the iconic flame pumps back to life. We’re also thrilled about their exquisite bag designs.

Balmain

By An Le

Somehow, Balmain managed to combine both timeless and modern in one line. Olivier Rousteing, creative director of the campaign, said, “For this collection, we wanted a new strong, message that honed in on the essential—and Milla Jovovich helped us with that. Her confidence and talent comes through in each shot and in every movement of her performance.”

Stella McCartney

By Johnny Dufort

Our first impression for this campaign is a sense of freedom and a raw expression of femininity. Then we found out that it was actually shot in Campbeltown, Scotland on the farm where McCartney grew up as a child. She commented, “There is a lot of sustainable forestry in that part of Scotland, which is part of what we wanted to capture in the images. We really wanted the clothes to connect with nature, one of the core messages at the heart of the Stella McCartney brand…sustainability, fashion and luxury.”

Michael Kors

By Inez & Vinoodh

Binx Walton modeling travel glamour at its best. What more can we ask for? The campaign photos capture the fashion concept of a modern jet setter in her most laidback mood. Kors loved the outcome of the photos because they carried the same eclectic spirit that reflects his fall runway show.

Coach

By Steven Meisel

Again teaming up with Selena Gomez and also featuring Japanese actress Kiko Mizuhara, Chinese actress Guan Xiaotong and Chinese actor Timmy Xu, Coach is for the win. Proud of his work, and rightly so, creative director Stuart Vevers said, “I love the way that we have pushed the Coach gang further this season to be more unique, diverse and just overall cool in their attitude. It’s how I see people here in New York enjoying wearing clothes and just feels really relevant to me.”

Gucci

By Glen Luchford

As always, eccentric is what comes to mind when you witness Gucci’s campaigns. The theme this season is obsessive collector. We’re not sure how we feel about it yet, except that since this is Gucci, they probably know exactly what they’re doing. Interestingly enough, they actually have Harry Styles modeling for the men’s tailoring campaign with yet another peculiar concept of posing with farm animals.
