Nissan cars are among the most popular in Egypt. Models like the Sunny, Sentra, and Qashqai can be seen gracing the streets and are known for their reliability and good track record. It is Nissan’s latest model release, however, that has gotten us excited the most-their newly launched Nissan GT-R. The star of the recently concluded Auto fair extravaganza Automech, the sports car is bound to become Egypt’s latest and hottest supercar. The GT-R line up establishes the speed concept, designed by an exterior streamline shape and intersected sports line with a very powerful V shape 3.8 engine which works with a double turbocharged fuel pump including 24 valves.
Exterior Design
Rather than being designed to the demands of aerodynamics, the GT-R sculpts the air to its needs – becoming a force of nature as much as a force to be reckoned with.
The headlights feature four LED units to create an extremely natural light, replicating daylight, while also offering increased illumination. The super-wide-beam headlights expand the area of illumination toward the sides of the car, enhancing visibility, especially when cornering.
The Nissan GT-R Taillights have true iconic status. The taillights are synonymous with the GT-R, if only for the fact that people are used to seeing them as you leave them in the dust.
The Engine
Nissan challenged convention at every point of the Nissan GT-R’s development. Instead of a large, heavy engine thirsty for fuel, the Nissan GT-R is powered by an ideally sized, twin-turbocharged 3.8-L V6 that produces a prodigious 565 hp and equally immense 467 lb.-ft of torque. Just as important as the engineering is the actual assembly, which is done by hand by a single master craftsman, whose signature you’ll find on a small, but prominent, plaque.
Safety
With the RearView Monitor, when you back up, a camera mounted discreetly on the rear of the vehicle helps you see what’s directly behind you. The system also includes a convenient wide 180° view for an even better look. What is more impressive are the front and rear sonar sensors that are fitted in the Nissan GT-R. The parking sonar gives you an added ally in your pursuit of parking, with sensors on all four corners looking out for static objects and giving you an audible warning when you’re getting close.
