Get ready for the exciting world’s toughest adventure on 12 December 2017 where Egyptian Adventurer Omar Samra and professional Egyptian triathlete Omar Nour will be taking on!
The two Omar’s who are dubbed O2 will row 5,000 Nautical kilometers from the Canary Islands to Antigua without any outside support in the great deep blue ocean as part of the Atlantic Challenge.
The duo will have to experience high intensity physical training plus sufficient mental training in order to be able to handle any situation they might face. They will also have to finalize multiple qualifications such as a RYA Yacht-master Ocean Theory, First Aid at Sea, Sea Survival and a VHF Radio License.
Not only that, but if both Omars successfully complete the crossing, this will make them the first Arab team to row across an ocean! The world record for pairs, which O2 have set firmly in their sights, is 40 days, 4 hours and 3 minutes.
