At the Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria
This time around, I was invited to try out the newest restaurant addition to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Alexandria, Filini. Being a lover of Italian food myself, I was more than happy to try it out.

Filini truly brings a piece of authentic Italy to the table. The mouth-watering a la carte cuisine, filled with Italian goodness, comes alongside a cozy, romantic candle lit ambience, laced with wooden accents and mellow music…as I said, the epitome of Italian luxury and perfection.
With numerous delightful options to choose from, I finally decided to start off with the Beef Carpaccio…and don’t be fooled, it was an incredibly difficult choice, since the sound of every dish sounded more appetizing than the other.
Next up was the lemon-scented seafood risotto, which I gladly paired with a mouthwatering pan-friend sea bass dish; simply enticing!
The seafood risotto is definitely the star of all risottos on the menu and the lasagna al forno is an absolute must-try. As for the Secondi, these fish dishes of the roast prawns with tomato, garlic and olive oil was just perfect and the seared sea bass fillet with potato cake was the best of both world combining taste and lightness.
As incredibly challenging as this final–and sadly last–part was, but we had to make sure not to miss on the sweeter side of Filini and treat our tummies to some dessert. Being an avid tiramisu eater…I decided to go for…well, the Fillini tiramisu, which I must say is definitely one-of-a-kind.
So the next time you’re in the area, head down to the Radisson Blu Alexandria and book your table at Fillini for an incredibly rich, mouthwatering, and scrumptious dining experience.
