and connect with others. Twitter is the place to see love unfolding around the
world, to show love as things happen, share love in the face of adversity, to
find love and share love for the people who make a difference in our lives.
In Egypt, with 12.3 million
Tweets having taken place in 2016 including the word “love”, الحب or حب, Valentine’s Day has
increasingly become another occasion for people to celebrate their love. This
year, we take a look at how celebrities are expressing their love on the
platform.
Egyptian iconic actress Yousra and UNDP Goodwill Ambassador (@youssra) chose to Tweet a throwback
of her love song “7eb.. khali el nas ti7ib” to express her love on Valentine’s
Day
Additionally, Egypt has strongly expressed love towards the Egyptian National Team
goalkeeper Essam El-Hadary (@elhadary) for leading the team to the final game of the Africa Cup of Nations,
El-Hadary expressed his love towards his family of five kids:
