On the seafront of the stunning Larvotto area of Monaco, are two apartments that the young and talented interior designers Humbert & Poyet have transformed to create one unique space. The 380 meters squared apartment has a 100 meters squared space dedicated to the balcony alone, and the design duo was happy to work with an unusually large space in that prestigious area.

Much like directors, Humbert & Poyet treat spaces like stage designs, aiming to create different emotions within a single location. By reflecting their vision of the Riviera lifestyle, they aimed for the design of the home to be timeless while exuding discreet luxury.

The building is straight out of the 70’s, with a ceramic mosaic façade. Inspired by the blending of French and Italian style that takes place on the Riviera, Humbert & Poyet wanted a mix of legendary French pieces from the 50’s along with vintage Italian furniture for the home.

The design is one of measured sobriety, punctuated with touches of bright color, printed wallpapers influenced by plants and breath-taking exterior views overlooking the Mediterranean.
