When it comes to accessories, simple refinement is in. While gaudy costume jewellery can be a fun wardrobe addition, these large, flamboyant pieces lack functionality for everyday wear.
From carefully crafted bangle bracelets to refined statement pieces and delicate chokers, these Egyptian designers managed by creative fashion hub Maison Pyramide embody all that is fabulous when it comes to the world of accessories.
One of Maison Pyramide’s brightest young designers, Jude Benhalim launched her brand in 2011; inspired by geometric shapes and architectural constructions. Whether it is a large cuff bracelet or a delicate pair of earrings, a story can be told in each of her pieces—a story that she hopes to bring to the world with her must-have collections.
Indira NYC is an Egypt-based brand founded in New York City in 2013. Founded by designer Marwa Saadawi, Indira NYC produces fine sterling silver jewellery in a range of styles that have been spotted on models, actresses and fashionistas around the globe. Characterised by bold statement pieces with feminine touches, Saadawi’s designs often incorporate materials such as leather and mother of pearl.
With a love for quality, simplicity and the avant-garde, designer Amr Saad creates peculiar and artistic handmade eyewear unlike any you have seen before. In collaboration with art director Ikon Chiba and Maison Pyramide, Saad’s most recent Opulence campaign is a study in high fashion and design.
