Space exploration has always been the province of dreamers. Egyptian adventurer Omar Samra has announced his “Inspiring the Future” Initiative, launching “Make Space Yours” project.
The project targets more than 100 universities and schools in Egypt, collecting the most creative and effective ideas offered from the students and turning them into reality. Don’t worry, the competition welcomes Egyptians from all educational backgrounds and from various governorates including Alexandria, Sinai, Suez, and Upper Egypt.
The opportunity will be a new experience that will encourage future generations to think out of the box and go wild with their imaginations. The Egyptian influencer is trying to raise awareness and promote researches in the field of astronomy.
“The most important thing is for the parents to let their child make mistakes.“ Samra emphasizes on the word “try” saying “let the child try”.
The founder of Wild Guanabana always dreamt, since the age of 7, of going to the universe’s galaxy. Surprisingly, he had the privilege to win a global space competition to go to space with XCOR Aerospace in 2018.
The first phase of the competition will begin on November 23 at the AUC Tahrir Campus for university students. Meanwhile, the schools’ competition will be on December 5 at the AUC New Campus. The youngest age welcomed to participate is eight years old. So get ready to be entertained and shocked with the ideas!
This initiative is sponsored by CIB and INERTIA, and partnered by INJAZ Egypt, .digtalrepublic, XCOR Aerospace, and Wild Guanabana.
