25 Hours Hotel at MuseumsQuartier

25 Hours hotels are known for their eclectic design concepts, excellent service, and imaginative amenities. While we love each of their properties, the Vienna location in the heart of the city’s Museum quarter is quite possible our favourite. This circus-themed boutique has captured our hearts, and we make sure to have a reservation on the books whenever in the Austrian capital.

Quirky and unpredictable, this hotels keeps us on our toes—in a good way. The property’s design sets the tone for a memorable visit to Vienna by reflecting the city’s historic association with sensations and showmanship. From world-class opera and ballet to music and theatre, Vienna is synonymous with the mystery, fun, and illusion of performance.

The hotel’s circus-themed design reflects the character of the city and takes it to another level with each of the property’s 217 rooms decorated in individualised circus-themed style. Full of colour, texture, and lovingly selected accessories, each room is a work of art that is also a pleasure to stay in with all the comforts of home. From vibrant murals to striking yellow accents, and stuffed animals to sculptural light fixtures, we never know quite what to expect when checking in, except that a new experience awaits us.

The property’s public spaces reflect the imagination and care put into the guestrooms, and the hotel is known as a hotspot for nightlife and dining in Vienna with good reason. The restaurants are American-inspired and include an American-style Italian restaurant as well as a casual chic burger joint. The rooftop, with panoramic views of the city, is the perfect place to take in the scene over drinks.

One of the things we love most about 25 Hours hotels are the unique amenities offered at each property. Aside from the usual things we expect from our boutiques, the Vienna property offers free use of bicycles to allow guests to get into the European cycling tradition, as well as a bespoke tourist kiosk in the lobby with the perfect selection of slightly quirky souvenirs.

While we love the glamour of Vienna’s first district, this hotel in the bohemian seventh district has captured our hearts with its whimsical style, imagination, and touch of madness—the perfect combination for a memorable and comfortable stay in Vienna if you ask us.
