Jade Mountain delivers romance in a very unique way from its hilltop perch in the green mountains of St. Lucia. The impressive design by architect-owner Nick Troubetzkoy, with individual bridges leading to infinity pool suites, makes Jade Mountain one of the Caribbean’s most memorable resort experiences.
Walls are optional at Jade Mountain, leaving guests to commune with the surroundings. Jade Mountain’s 29 “sanctuaries” have only three walls, creating a stage-like setting from which guests can memorize St. Lucia’s twin peaks and the Caribbean Sea. The sanctuaries are accessible via a system of private bridges and each exudes style, luxury, privacy, and comfort in 1,400 to 1,950 square feet of open-concept living space. Each has an enormous and uniquely designed infinity plunge pool right in the sitting area.
Just like the sanctuaries themselves, the bathrooms at Jade Mountain are individually designed and vary slightly in layout and size. The open floor design allow the bathrooms to become part of the sanctuary experience and offer amazing views whilst showering or soaking in the chromatherapy whirl pool tubs. You can arrange for a fun warm bubble bath any night of your choice.
Guests also have a private restaurant, bar, spa, fitness centre, and sky-top terrace at their disposal, and can also use the beaches and facilities at the adjacent Anse Chastanet Resort. Given the comfort and style of the sanctuaries, though, it’s no wonder that room service is so popular here. Accommodations are technology, although a device allows guests to communicate with the service team and Wi-Fi is available. As is to be expected, the service at the resort is world-class. Upon arrival, guests are appointed a butler (just the way we like it!).
