Gourmet dinners

He will be arriving from his renowned private fine dining ‘Johannestube’ restaurant, high in the Italian Alps at Bolzano, where he creates dishes full of Alpine flavour by using long-forgotten herbs and vegetables in collaboration with a local farmer so his guests can ‘taste nature’.

The 2015 Michelin Guide states: “”His cuisine makes good use of produce grown in the region. The creative use of herbs, spices and flowers accompany meat and fish dishes and local specialties.”

Theodor’s culinary education began as a 15 year-old in Northern Italy alongside his mother who cooked for their family of vineyard farmers. After spending a year as a paratrooperduring Italian national service duties he began his career in Switzerland. He has worked in Europe, Ecuador, Bermuda, China, Malaysia, Oman and Dubai with hotel groups such as Hyatt Regency, Fairmont, Grand Hyatt Muscat and the Traders Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
