The Macan Turbo, top model of the range, comes in with a 3.6-liter V6 Biturbo engine delivering speed of 400 HP (294W) and at 6000 RPM, the Macan S is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 Biturbo engine with a 340 HP (294 KW) and at 5500 RPM and the Macan S Diesel comes with a high-torque powerhouse with a 245HP (180KW) and at a 6500 RPM turbo diesel engine that comes a torque of 580 Nm across a broad engine speed range.

The Porsche Macan combines extreme power of a soprts performance vehicle with measurable efficiency that has never been seen in this class, with consumption figures in the NEDC range between 6.9 liters per 100 KM for diesel and 9.2 liters per 100 KM for premium grade fuel.

All models are fitted with a Sport button placed on the center of the console, where it electronic engine management system takes the vehicle to a noticeably faster range at a touch of a button.

Other vehicles are incomparable to the safety of this car as it’s the only vehicle in this market segment that can drive on the road with such precision and stability. Its chassis components, the running-gear setup and the brakes take on an exclusive position with a wheel base of 2807 millimeters and a front track of 1655 millimeters and 1651 millimeters at the rear that provides driving stability.

The Macan is leading the way with the most powerful braking system supplemented by the new multi-collision brake safety system. The multi-collision brake system automatically brakes the vehicle involved in a crash to reduce the residual kinetic energy naturally following the original accident. The multi-collision brake is triggered when the airbag sensors detect a primary collision, at which point the system initiates maximum braking

The Macan resembles the aesthetic of the Porsche 911 sport car where it asserts the heritage of Porsche; from the front it reveals its distinctive component of the design. The large air pipes are typical of Porsche and highlights its performance class. The front of the car is focused on the middle part, where it gives it a concentric confident look that reflects its character and performance. The spoiler lip on the vehicle follows the style of the 918 Spyder. Stylistic elements known as C-blades fitted in the side air intakes accentuate the sporty look of the vehicle and provide a sophisticated aerodynamic response. It has a wraparound bonnet and a gently inclining roof line that highlights the over-all impression of such a sporty elegance and power of the car.

From the inside the Macan continues to impress as from the outside and it’s engine. Packed with many extensive features and numerous unique options that includes an all-wheel drive, PDK, multi-function sport steering wheel with shift paddles as well as high performance audio system (from Burmester and Bose) and an electrically operated tailgate.

The Macan offers an air suspension system in which it is the only vehicle in its segment to feature it. Another highlight is the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), which distributes varying levels of drive, torque to the rear wheels and work in conjunction with the rear axle that is electronically controlled and this system is specifically tailored to the Macan.
The car also has a very cool option known as the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, where the headlight level is continuously adjusting keeping with the traffic ahead and any oncoming traffic.
