Leading luxury jewellery design house, Azza Fahmy Jewellery, announces the collaboration with British fashion designer, Matthew Williamson to create ‘Azza Fahmy for Matthew Williamson’ a 10 piece catwalk and retail jewellery collection.
The debut collection will be unveiled at Matthew Williamson’s Spring/Summer 2014, London Fashion Week show on the 15th September and sees the pairing of Azza Fahmy’s culturally informed designs and craftsmanship with Matthew Williamson’s refined and spirited sense of glamour inspired by global and artistic influences.
Azza says: “Matthew is a prestigious designer with a refreshing artistic and cultural approach, in which we share many similarities and we are delighted to be working with him.”
Azza Fahmy’s career spans over 40 years and her journey began in Egypt’s ancient jewellery quarter, Khan El Khalili, before completing her studies in London courtesy of the British Council. She currently has over 19 retail doors and her partnership with her daughter and designer for the brand began over five years ago.
