Who is Schmidt Felgen?
Schmidt Felgen is a renowned German company, known for its luxury rims all around Europe. The company was founded in 1985, and has been growing–and going strong–ever since.
And who is Wheelie?
We are a group of enthusiasts and car lovers, who felt the need to bring these luxury rims into the country, adding–not only flair to any automotive they accessorize–but also security and safety.
Have you always been a fan of Schmidt Felgen?
Yes! They are truly modern, innovative, and creative! Everything they create and/or design is centered around one main concept: the implementation of the perfect rim, and we find that incredible!
How would you describe your product?
It’s very simple actually. “German-made, top notch designer rims.”
Why did you think of starting Wheelie in the first place?
We noticed that the market for rims–or luxury rims–does not exist in Egypt, and yet for car lovers it is a vital aspect that needs to be taken into consideration.
What makes you think your product will be successful?
Naturally, we were a bit suspicious at first, but in the first two weeks after launching our Facebook page, we collected more than 2000 likes! The latter proves that the product is in demand, understood, and loved. Furthermore, numerous orders were already placed, and some were delivered a few weeks ago.
Do you offer consultation, with respect to which rims to choose?
Of course! With the vast array of rims, each car deserves to have its own customized look! Some rims just look better on certain brands, and–with our expertise–we can help our clients in that respect. Furthermore, some of our rims can also be customized in terms of color, which is yet another option we offer. Due to all of that, we supply based on demand, in order to ensure that every customer can have the perfect rims he/she desires, and that he/she is not limited to a certain collection we have on display.
What about your clients? Are they mainly men?
Surprisingly…they’re not! We have a very mixed client base, ranging from men and women in their 20s, up to clients in their 70s! And, to answer your question, we have an almost equal amount of male and female clients.
Tell me…why should I buy your product, when I can find rims anywhere else?
Yes, you will find rims, but not these rims. I can guarantee that in terms of design, weight, and safety, our products are incomparable! Furthermore, our rims are better than “other” aluminum ones because they are three-piece rims, have RADINOX® technology, are DurChrome coated, fully handmade, and due to their specific rotation-symmetric production process, even material spreading and high material compaction occur, thus creating rims with lower weight and improved concentricity.
What about your newest line of rims?
We find our new range of products very exciting! Schmidt Felgen used a new material for this line, one that is so strong, you can even drive up a sidewalk without the wheels on the rims, and the rims won’t be damaged! Incredible!
